A Special Announcement from USD 270 Superintendent Lisa Gehring and The Rooks County Health Department regarding COVID-19:
Are you concerned about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it will affect us in western Kansas?
Local partners including our office, Rooks County Emer. Mgmt., Rooks County Health Center, Rooks County EMS, USD 269, USD 270, and USD 271 schools are all working together to keep you and your families safe.
The best thing you can do?? Wash your hands often, keep your hands away from your face, practice good hygiene practices, and STAY HOME when you are sick!
If you have recently visited an area with an outbreak, another area of concern or have had contact with someone with COVID-19 and you develop cough or shortness of breath and fever, call your doctor, the health department or hospital BEFORE coming to our offices for further directions on how to handle being evaluated.
